Kava Kava root, or simply Kava, comes from the roots of the Piper Methysticum, a plant in the pepper family. The name translates roughly to "intoxicating pepper," and native inhabitants of the Pacific Islands, such as Hawaii, Fiji, and Tonga, have used kava in social and cultural settings for hundreds of years.

Kava is known for its relaxing, euphoriant properties, making it a great way to unwind after a long day or ease social situations. Kava tarts offer a fast, mess-free format that fits into a busy lifestyle.

Each tart contains 950mg of kava extract. It's recommended to not exceed the dosage listed on the packaging. Talk to your regular healthcare provider before incorporating kava, or any new herb or supplement, into your lifestyle.

The best way to ensure the safety and purity of the botanicals you buy is to check if the manufacturer is certified by the American Kratom Association.
